“Health data are the driving force behind the transformation of the healthcare system. Only if we are able to govern, protect, and enhance them can we turn data into knowledge, improve people’s lives, and enable territories to become key players in innovation.”
Alfredo Sassi, CEO & Founder, H-Ventures Group
Milan, December 15, 2025.
Today, H-Ventures Group took part in the conference “Health Data Revolution: from Europe to MIND, the digital future of Italian healthcare”, hosted at Fondazione Triulza – MIND Milan Innovation District, alongside institutions, academia, and the pharmaceutical industry.
A high-level discussion that outlined the European, national, and territorial vision of the healthcare system of the future, placing at its core the strategic value of health data: from simple information to a lever of knowledge, capable of shaping public policies, driving innovation, and generating tangible value for citizens, territories, and the country as a whole.
The need for a profound cultural shift in the use of data and frontier technologies clearly emerged, in order to build an increasingly digital, interconnected, and secure healthcare system, where data becomes a tool of democracy and inclusiveness, reducing inequalities and enhancing territorial specificities.
As emphasized by Senator Alessio Butti, Undersecretary of State to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for Innovation, the future of healthcare must also be a healthcare system that is “clearly identifiable,” protected, reliable, and founded on trust.
“Health data are the driving force behind the transformation of the healthcare system,” says Alfredo Sassi, CEO of HVS. “Only if we are able to govern, protect, and enhance them can we turn data into knowledge, improve people’s lives, and enable territories to become key players in innovation.”
Italy is already anticipating the future of healthcare. The Lombardy Region is at the forefront of this crucial challenge, and HVS is proud to be an active part of this journey.
